Friends of International Women's Day projects are open for 2020 and Expressions of Interest are invited as soon as possible from formal
entities around the world.
IWD Friends are relationships that see organizations and groups tangibly deliver agreed amplification activity to support IWD and its campaign theme,
and meet a number of specific selection criteria. Activity is not generally an event as these are already listed
here, but rather co-branded marketing activity and promotion supporting the annual IWD
Please submit the form below to outline your interest in a Friend of IWD relationship, following which details are reviewed and contact
made for a discussion should the proposal be of interest. Please note, the below form is not intended for groups requesting financial
assistance but is for organizations and groups to clearly explain what product, service or project they would like to deliver for IWD.
IMPORTANT: Due to the significant volume of submissions received daily, only those with tangible details about the product or service you
propose to deliver are considered.

International Women's Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The
day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.
International Women's Day (IWD) has occurred for well over a century, with the
first IWD gathering in 1911 supported by over a million people in Austria, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland. Prior to this the Socialist Party
of America, United Kingdom's Suffragists and Suffragettes, and further groups campaigned for women's equality.
Today, IWD belongs to all groups collectively everywhere.
IWD is not country, group or organization specific.
Make IWD your day - everyday.
